Bio 👋

I’m Michael. I’m a Creative Director who builds ideas that people notice, remember and sometimes talk about against their better judgement.

Right now, I’m at Saatchi & Saatchi London, working across UK and EMEA accounts. Before that, I was at The Brooklyn Brothers, leading work for Castrol, the Financial Times and Inspired by Iceland, among others. Earlier in my career, I was Head of Art and Creative at McCann during one of its most successful and awarded periods.

Along the way, I’ve helped get a word into the dictionary, put gamers on a billboard, turn tourists into students, challenge the law with the law, and launch a game we weren’t technically allowed to advertise.

I care about ideas, taste and craft. I’ve always believed great ideas are built on great design, and that the best work needs both imagination and the right conditions to survive.

Outside of work, I’m deep into AI, film and the strange space where creativity meets technology. I’m excited by what AI makes possible, suspicious of what it makes easy, and increasingly convinced that taste is only going to matter more
